Daniel Tesfaye, MD, provides compassionate neurological care to patients suffering from nervous system diseases at Atlanta Neuro Care in Conyers, Georgia.
Dr. Tesfaye graduated from St. Petersburg Medical Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. He completed his internal medicine and neurology residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
From 1989-1994, Dr. Tesfaye worked as a general practitioner at the Armed Forces General Hospital in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia. After relocating to the United States, he worked as a research assistant at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, until 1996.
Dr. Tesfaye taught neurology for internal and family medicine residents and supervised residents at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was also the medical director for New Century Hospice.
Dr. Tesfaye is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the North Carolina Neurological Society, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
In 2001 and 2003, the American Academy of Family Medicine recognized Dr. Tesfaye as an active teacher in family medicine. He is also listed in America’s Top Physicians by the Consumer’s Council of America.
